The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, formatting, and validating ePub files that are compatible across various devices and platforms. This is a short-term contract role ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for high-quality digital content.
A Day In Your Life:
● Convert and format content into ePub/ePub3 formats following industry standards.
● Ensure consistency, functionality, and responsiveness across all major devices and e-readers.
● Collaborate with design, content, and QA teams to maintain high-quality outputs.
● Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to formatting or file compatibility.
● Validate files against ePub standards and conduct device-based testing.
● Maintain project timelines and document processes as needed.
Skills In Spotlight:
● 2+ years of experience in ePub development and digital publishing.
● Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and XML.
● Good understanding of ePub standards and accessibility requirements.
● Experience with tools like Sigil, Adobe InDesign, Oxygen XML Editor, or equivalent.
● Strong attention to detail and quality control.
