Synopsis:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer with expertise in ePub testing, accessibility
verification, and bug tracking tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing digital publishing
projects, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, and maintaining quality assurance. This role
requires technical proficiency, strong analytical skills, and effective communication.
Day in Your Life:
- Test ePub (Fixed Layout and Reflowable) projects to ensure functionality, formatting, and
compliance with digital publishing standards. - Perform accessibility testing to verify content adherence to WCAG and other accessibility guidelines.
- Analyze and understand project specifications, functional, and technical requirements.
- Conduct manual, functionality, and regression testing to identify defects and ensure smooth user experience.
- Utilize bug tracking tools like Bugzilla or JIRA to log, track, and manage defects.
- Work with Adobe Acrobat and MS Office for reviewing and validating digital content.
- Collaborate with teams to communicate test results and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Adapt to flexible working hours and shifts based on project requirements.
Skills In Spotlight:
- 1–2 years of experience in ePub testing, quality assurance, and digital publishing, with a focus on both Fixed Layout and Reflowable formats.
- Skilled in manual, functional, and regression testing, with a solid grasp of accessibility testing for digital content.
- Proficient in using bug tracking tools like Bugzilla and JIRA for defect reporting and tracking.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Acrobat and MS Office for content review and documentation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret technical specs and coordinate effectively across teams.
